When my twin brother and I were kids, our dad took us to the local drive in to see a cartoon. But, what was playing that evening wasn’t a movie for kids. It was an animated feature called Fantastic Planet. I remember that one of the first scenes in the movie involved a space alien picking up a tiny woman and then exposing her breasts with his index finger. Most parents would have left at that point — not Dad.
Anyway, this wasn’t the first or last time dad took us to see an inappropriate movie at the drive in. I’m not sure what that was all about. I’ll have to ask him one of these days. (Brother, do you remember this one?)
This particular clip on YouTube has been re-edited and set to modern electonic music. Enjoy.

I absolutely remember that creepy cartoon. I also remember when the folks took us to see "Night of the Grizzly" starring Clint Walker. We were about six years old and the movie featured people being eaten by bears. We also saw "Night of the Hunter" at the drive-in. We were probably about five. That was the scariest damn movie EVER. Robert Mitchum was a psycho preacher terrorizing two little kids across country. It was even more scary because dad kind of looked like Robert Mitchum. What was he thinking?
